This one is currently on our boards! We’re excited to be designing a new residence on 7 acres in Truckee. Our goal for this project is to create a home that is simple and functional with an efficient layout while maintain a modern mountain aesthetic. We needed to maintain lots of glass on the south and east facades in order to maintain the views to the surround mountains, but we’ve incorporate a roofline that helps us with solar heat gain in the winter but blocks the sun in the summer. And all the snow will be shed to the rear of the house to make it lower maintenance in the winter.
