SAN FRANCISCO RENOVATION

RENOVATION + NEW ROOF DECK
SAN FRANCISCO, CA

This San Francisco family home was in need of some upgrades, particularly to the dark ad gloomy kitchen. Our clients also desired easier access to the outdoors from the main living level since it was located on the second floor. Our design incorporated a new “bridge” connection from the kitchen to a new roof deck created over the existing garage. The roof deck provides a great space for entertaining and takes advantage of views to the Golden Gate Bridge. We also incorporated a custom steel and wood spiral stair that provides an easy connection to the backyard or garage. The new kitchen is beautifully bright and filled with light from the expansive windows. It features natural quartzite countertops as well as light and cream tones throughout to keep the light radiating through. And there are plenty of features that make this a family friendly kitchen from the eat-in banquette to the creative storage spaces and even a magnetic wall to hang up kids’ artwork.
